I have seen shell catchers for handguns and am wondering if they are available for shotguns? I had not a great amount of fun chasing shells this past weekend, especially in tall grass.

Andy,

Trap shooters use a device they call a shell catcher on auto-loading shotguns when they are shooting singles. It fastens to the ejection port and keeps the empty from exiting the port completely. They pluck the fired round from the port with their fingers and drop it in their empty bag.

Probably not what you're looking for, but the only thing of that sort that I'm aware of.

I found something I think will work. It is a meshbag with a velcro strap designed for AR-type rifles, but looks like it can be adapted to other weapons. Heck,it is only $10.00. Gonna give 'er a go. Let ya know how it works.
