So far I've had my stock loosen up twice on a Beretta DT-10 and was wondering what the recommended torque value is. Never had this happen before and the threads are good on both the bolt and receiver. This is between about 200 shots so it's not being abused. Thanks in advance

I have no idea, I screw them down as tight as I can with a big, long screwdriver and have never had much of a problem. When your stock comes off, if the through bolt is still tight (meaning it is not loosening up) and you think you're really tightening it up when you screw it back on, I MIGHT consider putting a bit of lock tite or finger nail polish on the nut and bolt but you're probably just not putting enough "whang" (technical term) on the screwdriver when you tighten it up. One more thought, and I don't know anything about a D10, but you do have a washer under the nut? If not, you could be compressing the wood and that might account for it. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.
