I'm wanting to put a recoil pad on my Merkel 12ga. SXS. If I pull the butt plate and just add a 3/4" pad it will be about 14 3/4" LOP which will be about right.
I really would like a classic looking red pad but can't find any 3/4". The london guns pads are 7/8" but I'm not sure about those for a shotgun????
I've also been looking at the SC100 sporting clays pad in the Brownell's catalog. Has anyone used one of those? Or should I just stick with the plain decelerator?

Thanks much, in advance for any suggestions.

I have a SC100 pad on my Rizzini if I was doing it again I would pick the straight pad I have found that the plastic insert can be a touch hard on the shoulder on some shots apart from that great recoil pad

Kick-Ezee gets my vote. I have tried several and IMHO the Kick-Ezee wins over.

Focus on the leading edge!

The "Limbsaver" pads are a whole new technology. They work sooooo much better than anything I have ever tried.
