Is ruger ever going to ship any gold labels? Does anybody have any info? 2 yrs. now & no guns, what's up? Regards Mike

Well, I really do not know. I have been looking for another SxS. However, I have two Red Label guns, a 12 Ga. Woodside and a 28 Ga. straight stocked gun. Both are good guns, but a little clunky by comparison to my Beretta single barreled trap and my Beretta SxS. Ruger builds shotguns like their revolvers: a lot of steel, strength galore, but not much for aesthetics. I suspect that the Gold Label will reflect those values. Still, the pictures aren't too bad.

It seems to be a marketing strategy these days to announce a new model far in advance of its actual arrival. I suspect that it builds up a pent-up demand so that the first production run (or two) is sold out and they can claim a marketing success and recap some investment fast.
