| Im usually post on the small caliber rifle forum. Just discovered this post. To me a 16 is the ultimate bird gun. I've had a bunch of them over my 40 some years of grouse and woodcock hunting. They make sense as long as you use one that has its own frame size. A good 16 should weigh from 5.75 lbs to 6.25 lbs. Then they "carry like a 20 and hit like a 12." I presently own a Citori Uplander and a Bill Hanus (Ugartachea) birdgun. I do reload. Ballistic Products has all the components one could desire. They have a website but I don't have the link handy. |

| After a fall of using the Parker I have picked up 2 more 16's. Both are L.C. Smith Ideal grades. One has been restocked in French walnut with a beavertail forearm and straight stock, the other is a FWT with 28 inch bbls but its choked Mod/Full which is to tight for me. |
