If you broke 97 / 100 first time out then you should start looking for sponsorship!

Well done!

I had the suspicion when I read Johnny's post that he was like the guy in a poker game (say five card draw)who says ""I'm new to this game so you have to be patient with me". I used to shoot trap at a range where I watched the owner's 16 year old son one day shoot 25 straight -and then repeat it (16 yard trap) -using a 410. There was all kinds of dark talk about this 16 year old - and we all wished we were that age again.

Johnny - you're doing just fine -It's your elders who are jealous. (On a serious note, shooting clays is a lot more difficult than trap and I am impressed that you went through the course the first time with such a score. Perhaps some people in your area can look into getting sponsorship. Don't dismiss the idea because you are young. There are all kinds of businesses that want to sell products to the young who may be interested in you. At least, look into it.
