I have a Mossberg 835 Ulti Mag that needs a magazine plug before I go dove hunting.
Will a piece of PVC conduit work or does it need to be something solid?

PVC will work as will many other things !You could probably find one , even in bright orange , in a gun shop.

Never mind. I have not shot this shotgun yet and it's showing.
I just checked- it comes with a plug in the mag.
