I'vew been offered a double barreled Parker 20 gauge from a friend of mine. It's been used but not abused, locks up tight. He says it shoots well. I really like the way it handles, but I don't know what it's worth. He told me to make him a fair offer....What's fair? WE are good friends and I will not take advantage of him. But what should my offer be?

Without seeing the gun, it is hard to tell, as there are many grades of Parkers. It also depends on the amount of finish left on the gun. I would look at the guns that have sold at the various auction sites and on gunsamerica to get an idea.
