I am looking to purchase a 28 ga. o\u in 28 in. bbl. with 3 in. chamber[if possible]. Which is the best in your opionion in the field grades Rugar Browning Beretta or is there another good choice in the retail range of 1600-2000 dollars? Any help is appreiciated.

If you shoot Brownings well and they fit - I would definately throw that beretta to my shoulder a few dozen of times b4 purchase. the Browning stock fits me just perfect but every berreta has a comb way too low for me.

I have loaded for the 28 ga for quite a while. It seems to be the most case sensitive of all that I load; cases must be in very good shape to get good reloads. The only real problem is finding cases. A couple of years ago I had to buy 1/2 case of Win factory loads because I couldn't find any 1 fired cases. I use a MEC sizemaster and it works well.
