Looking to make the plunge for a good clay gun. I lucked into a used Weatherby Athena 12GA a few years ago from a co-worker with less than 200 rounds through it for $1k. I'm looking to get a Citori 725 and not sure if I should go with 12 or 20GA. Decisions.... Also, anyone know where the best prices for these guns can be found?

With "clay" you may be referring only to sporting clays game, but if you want to shoot Trap as well would go with the 12 gauge. Light trap loads or skeet even in 12 aren't that tough on recoil. The 725 is a nice gun and no question one in 20 would be a real gem to hold and shoot. Check w/ ShotgunWorld web site, there is quite selection of shotguns being offered. Good luck.
