Any one ever hear of a Colt double with hammers and break open? Any idea of value of such a gun?

Yes I've heard of and seen one. Actually held it in my hands. I've no idea of the current value but at the time the fellow selling it was asking $3500. Don't believe very many were made.

This young man I work with came to work with 5 of them in his car to show us! His grandmother had dug them out of the basement from his grandfathers belongings! I wet my pants! I had never seen one let alone 5!
