Don't know why M-12's are sleepers. Probably because steel shot was mandated for waterfowl and O&U are coveted by "real" bird hunters and target shooters. The good news is --they are sleepers. I've bought four in just the past year - two 16 ga ( $150 & $200 ) a pristine 20 ga SR for $300 and a 12ga. ftw like new for $225. Three of the four were at gun shops!
Lets keep our mouths shut and keep on pumping.

at one time we did conversions of 20 gage to 28 gage m-12's,i'll look around for the tooling,we never threw anything out.i picked up a 16 gage for $175.00,in the box with no marks on it,around here the 16's are cheaper but for the most part the prices are $300.00 to $500.00 for a good used one,not the y-models.

Hey Simmonsguns, I have a worn out(bolt won't stay connected to the operating rod) mod 12 20 guage that I would love to have converted to a 28 guage. If you find the tooling email me, Thanks
