BMG, I've used paper (and just about everything else that seemed plausable) to "patch" both shot and slugs in the .410. Depending on the paper it works with varying degrees of success. You might want to try Tyvec (Tyvek?). You don't need to buy a roll, office supply stores sell big envelopes made of it. There has to be a fairly cheap source for mylar but I havent found it. You can also try photographic sheet film or roll film if you have a source. Take the emulsion off with clorox. That stuff is tough and works well. Thick sheet film or Xray also film works good as clear overshot wads for roll crimping. I've never had a problem with anything I've tried. Just watch the total payload weight. BH | |||
