Saw one of these, NIB, at a local retailer today. It seems to be similar to a Deerslayer model (rifled barrel) but has no scope rail. Parkerized finish, sythetic stocks, Hi-Viz front, buckhorn rear, receiver tapped for mounts.

Don't know any more about this particular model. Is is a lower-end version of the Deerslayer? They want $397 for it...is this a fair price?

It is probably nib from the old Ithaca company that went under a year ago. It should be a great gun if you like sythetic stocks. I would say its a fair price.
