I sent of my ruger .450-400 to Aaron Littlw in Texas for some work and decided to send him my Belgian Browning A5 Light Twenty to have the butt plate repaired as the screws stripped out due to using a slip on recoil pad. And then I get the news that the gun is a Belgian Browning barrel on a miroku receiver. Not a super big deal to me but my dad paid $1,000 for a gun that is now really ony worth $6-700. It will always stay in my pocession, as it was my dad's and is a wonderful gun for beginners and ladies. Anyone ever seen this before? I have bought and sold 15 A5's, and never noticed anything hanky about them, other than most people not having all of the gas parts present.
