Took possession of my Thunder Beast Arms can today. Bought it February 14, 2012 and it came in Friday September 7th.

Bill Pace over at Houston Armory said that the one lady who was doing all the work on applications for the Feds, now has 3 assistants. Hopefully it will be a shorter wait. I just ordered a can for my Ruger 22/45.

Off to the range tomorrow!

BTW I can't say enough nice things about the good people at Houston Armory in Stafford Texas.
Check out their new Houston Armory integral 300 Blackout AR 15. The barrel is the suppressor.

Have fun George! I had a great time today! With suppressed ammo the can is very quite on my Savage FP 10 308 win.

The Elite Iron Bravo 1 works, with subsonic (Hornady 208gr. AMax and to a lesser degree with the 125gr. BTSP.

There were many admiring glances and envious looks at the range.

No problem, Rich.

I've got paperwork for an Osprey .45 can in process, too.

My 300 BLK is built on a Black Rain Ordnance upper/lower pair with the usual kind of interesting things. Has 3-9x Burris FullField II with the Ballistic Plex reticle or a Pulsar N550 Digisight optics. 16" Barrel and 3 position gas block made by Paladin Machine Services.

Can is an SAS Titanium Arbiter 30 cal.

220 gr SMKs or 225 gr Hornady OTMs give me better than 1 MOA at 100 subsonic. Nice whitetail last fall was a DRT at 65 yards.

Perhaps not as much fun as an integral ... but the can is useable on other rifles. Has been used with 20" 5.56 AR, 6,8 ARs, and a .308 Savage 110 bolt rifle.

I've had a blkout for a while now and between my 12 yr old, wife and I has taken close to 50 hogs. Most were shot using pnw 125 gr ballistic tip. Also killed my personal record of 315#. Huge boar with very good cutters. Many of the hogs were boars 200-275# and within 100yds. I've killed a few with remmy subs and as you may expect shot placement is more critical. My setup is the 10" noveske, AAC can and a 4x raptor. The noveske has digested everything thing without a hitch, I've shot roughly 600-800 rds and about 8 different flavors.

Rusty, the Houston armory integrals look really nice, that would be worth a trip to Houston to check them out!!
