Jeffe.

Looking for subsonic or supersonic application?

Full power .458 AR?

Jeffe,

Probably ought to talk to the major vendors. If you're looking for 500 gr at 1050 fps the can will be much more rationally priced than one 6000 fpe.

In the latter case you're probably looking at a 50 BMG price range suppressor ... EXPENSIVE.

My bet it that you have the tooling to do a Form 1 build of your own.

Coastal sells an aluminum can designed for the 458 SOCOM for $349. It would not last at full loading but would handle subsonics just fine.

I have wondered about this myself. Either for the 45-70 subsonic/adaptable to acp, or .308 for subsonic + fitted to multiple guns. Packy

There are some pretty affordable cans for 308. A lot depends on how much you plan to shoot it and whether it will ever see full auto use. Those capabilities account for a lot of the price spread you see for various products.
