Does anyone have experience with these or know anyone who has one? They seem like a great deal for the price. Just wondering if I should wait for the next generation so they can get any bugs out.

Well a friend bought one and had some problems with it. I think SW related. He was having trouble moving the reticle to sight in IIRC. They had a period where they had some issues and the customer service wasn't great. This was 2-3 years ago. I've read the THOR's are great now, especially for the money. I'd take a chance if I had a retailer that was going to stand behind it if I had problems. I would try to avoid having to rely only on ATN corporate customer service. I bought (a Pulsar) from Ultimate Night Vision and they had a great reputation for handling any issues. Luckily, I didn't have any.
