As you all know, my friend George Koumbis, suppressor mfg, was murdered last year in September. The continuation of his design was in question. His widow was offered $11 Million by the Austrians for the patent rights and she said get bent.

Three guys from the shop and three investors have formed a new company and will be producing suppressors of George's designs.

Superior Suppressors is the name of the new company and I hope to be one of their 1st customers. My "shorty" 308, will go 1st, followed by a 22lr, 338RUM, a 1-7 twist 223, and 458WinMag. I just wish I would have had them built while George was still alive.

Mr. Koumbis was the maker of the carbon fiber cans right? While the claims of light weight were interesting, I never was able to find any independent reviews of his products. There is a thread about Shooters Depot on SilencerTalk that has various things to say about their product; not all of it good. http://www.silencertalk.com/fo...t=1795&hilit=Koumbis

What kind of design is the new company going to use?

As stated above, they will be using George's designs.

There were no aluminum baffles in any of the designs George was selling when last I spoke with him. All baffle stacks were stainless of titanium. A lot of the negative talk on the site you referenced are from competing manufacturers...go figure.

And folks that bought vaporware.
If their cans are so good why no reviews or youtube vids to show how great they are???
He sounds like an amalgamation of Jessie James and Red Jacket.

About the only thing I see on their website is that they are the best and have tubes made from carbon fiber. Nothing on noise data. Nothing on test results by owners. I've seen more than a few complaints
