George, thanks for sharing. I haven't looked in detail but the increase in manufacturing and exports over the last 25 years is great.

I am also amazed to see over 25,000 machineguns registered in Illinois and Maryland.

Those were surprising. Other eye-opening items for me were:

  • California - 224,946 Destructive Devices
  • Wyoming - 109,083 Destructive Devices
  • and that NY, NJ, D.C., HI, and MA had that many suppressors, machine guns, and destructive devices items, which I presume were all grandfathered or are owned by prop houses or 'special citizens'.

Looks like Obama has been a huge boon to the firearms industry as a whole.

It also appears that we are pretty well armed here in Texas!

Indeed, the current administration has been very good for the industry!

I was surprised that the number of DDs in WV is almost twice the number of cans, MGs, and SBRs.

Those numbers probably include civilian law enforcement, judges and mobsters.


"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.
