If anyone is considering a mid range Gen 3+ PVS-14, the unit from Ready Made Resources is an amazing deal. It uses the ITT thin film Pinnacle tube which is suitable for .223 AR platforms. There is a slight risk of delamination if the unit is used on .308's. To solve that problem with larger caliber ARs they also sell the L3/Litton tube in the PVS-14 format. The L3 tube does not use thin film technology and therefore can withstand .308 recoil much better. The L3 is also a little brighter as well, but costs about $700 more than the ITT tube.

The best thing about Ready Made Resources is they offer the best prices that I have found but more importantly they extend the usual two year warranty to a full 10 year warranty on both ITT and L3 units. That's pretty amazing considering all the things that can and do go wrong with NVG.

To convert a standard NV ocular into a weapons sight, simply add an Armasight AIM PRO Advance Integrated Mount that projects an adjustable (windage/elevation) reticle directly into the NV monocular lens. Can be used day or night. In addition, it does not add any significant weight to your platform, it does not destroy your field of view, and it does not take up more room on your P-Rail.

All in all a very slick combination.
