Hi First post here I found in a box of old .303 ammo a funny cartridge. After some reasearch I found it was a .45 Spanish remington. I was wondering if anyone else has one or knew anything about it? Cheers

Andrew Where did you find a reference calling the cartridge the ".45 Spanish Remington?" Do you have any dimensions or a photo? The 11.15mm Spanish Remington is actually 44 caliber (.439). Ray Arizona Mountains

Andrew The 11.15 Spanish Remington is collectable, not rare, but not all that common military cartridge. Quite a few surplus Remington Rolling Block rifle were imported after WW II and I believe there was even new ammunition manufactured when the suplus black powder cartridges began to dry up.
