A couple of days ago I was approached with one of these, and in the near future I'll see the rifle, a small european single shot. In the meantime, since I can't find anything on the cartridge, I thought maybe someone had some info...........?

Can you please measure the case length to be sure that it is 77 mm. I can find no reference to that case length , but there are a number of shorter cases , if you can give me an accurate measurement I can most likely find some information for you .
