I have an old european cartridge with soft point bullet in .358 dia. and 3 star and H in the base of the case. I think it's a 9x57 Mauser, but what manufacture?

Irrespective of the calibre , your cartridge was made by Hirtenberger of Austria between 1910 and about WW11.

Hector, case length, overall length, rim diameter (if rimmed rather than rimless) diameter of body (& neck if it is a necked round) would help a great deal.
