Heckler & Koch developed the 4.6x36 caliber with the "L�ffelspitzgeschoss".

Is anyone familiar with this story ?

As far as I know, no happy end: they gave up.

What do you want to know? I have the H&K data document on this ammunition, also some other comments. One says it was a "stage towards the development of the caseless G11" (along with various other experiments) and expired some time ago, but that's all I know of its fate.

I got an empty from the guy who wanted to sell a barrel to me, and a H&K report which I did not read yet.
The bullet looks very much like a killer bee, but not like something accurate.

I did not buy the barrel but a .300 whisper instead.
