Yesterday while metal detecting,I dug a 9x19mm shell casing with a WCC 43 headstamp.This is the first time I have encountered a 9mm case with a ww2 U.S. headstamp.Who were these rounds loaded for?

X-ring . . . packaging was 64 rounds / carton, exactly filling two sten magazines.
