Is there any real collector's value in this cartridge? I aquired a large quantity of loaded ammo with the correct headstamp and I'm not sure what to do with it. I also have some of the plastic boxes that they came in if that makes any difference. They were all in a box of assorted brass and ammo I got from a customer. There were also a bunch of 44 Automags and a few 357 Automags in there with them. I don't know that those would be worth much though as many of them are reformed military brass. I don't think they have a big collector value since they are not rare cartridges. However they are collectible such as any other cartridge out of production. Here in Italy the price for an original CDM 44 automag cartridge is about 2 euros.First wildcat specimens of this cartridge were made from reworked 8 x 57 JS cases. The 357 Automag has always been a wildcat cartridge although QUAL CART produces modern cases and loaded ammo with its own hds | |||
