I was given a large metal case, marked "repacked by NAD HAW 1954" and 2000 CTGS, M2. The end of the can is labeled "Sierra Amry Depot, Herlong, California" The top of the can is stamped "SMALL ARMS AMM. BOX MK. 1 MOD.0 and has the DoD stamp, and FA 54.

Now for the good part, inside there are 32 boxes of armor piercing caliber .30 M2 St. Louis Ordnance plant, all is lot #7742, headstamped SL 43.

14 boxes of BALL Caliber .30 AN-M2 Lot W.C.C. 6844 Olin Mathieson Chemical Corporation.

(What does the AN-M2 stand for?)

Also are three boxes of M2 ball, Eau Claire, and 2 boxes of M2 ball, Denver ordnance plant, and several opened boxed of Twin Cities M2 ball, and a couple of boxes of FA Match, and LC Match.

Not a bad score for just hauling it off, to get it out of someones way.

I think I'll hang on to the smaller quantities, but If anyone needs some of the SL armor piercing, or the W.C.C ball(it's headstamped 55) Let me know, and we'll see if we can't work something out.

Most of these are sealed, but a couple are open.
