I think it also goes by a 6mm Jaybird.

Basically, a 7mm remington mag necked down to 6mm. I got a few of those if you don't have them.

As a cartridge collector let me give you some advice - check ALL laws and regulations before mailing cartridges (even inert ones) overseas.

Wel..you are absolut right Cheechako.But i have bougth aa lot of inert cartridges on ebay and there have not been a problem yet.

But may be mgoodrich coud tel me more about the 6mm Arnold and 6mm Jaybird.What kind of cartridges are they mada of and what is the purpose of them.Have you used them for hunting or....How long is the cases?

I didn't mean to imply that you could not mail inert cartridges. But every country has it's own rules and they should be checked before sending anything. Some require that the primer pocket be drilled out. Some may prohibit certain kinds of bullets, such as hollow points. Some may prohibit any kind of inert cartridges over a certain size. And most are very picky about sending military cartridges.

Check first or regret it later. And don't lie about the contents on the customs form. If its legal, declare them for what they are.

I am lucky that my lokal police give me a non limit for amo collectoring.I collect al amo of the world.the restiction is on projectiles whit blasting,fire and multi purpose.So i have a verry larg collecting limit.And the norwegian custom is a litle bit restrictive on amo sendt in the mail.But as long as it says that the amo is inert,then the cartridges arrived my mailing adress.And i am verry great full for the intrest for my collection and the gents how woud like to donate them to me.Tank a gain gentlemen

You have a very nice collection. But let me give you some advice. DO NOT store your cartridges in wooden drawers. Acid in the wood, especially woods like oak, will darken both brass and copper and will eventually destroy lead bullets. Many of your soft point bullets already show signs of oxidation.

Also, do not lay them on any paper or cardboard that is not acid free.

The best way to store them is in metal drawers. I know that this will involve a lot of work on your part, and an expense, but you will not regtret it in the long run.

Check those Canadian laws carefully. Last year Canada Post adopted some new regulations regarding the mailing of ammunition, even inert stuff, and no one has quite figured out what is legal and what is not. You don't want to spend the rest of your life in an Ottowa prison over a couple of cartridges.

To day i got som new cartridge in the post. To 9.mm Dillon,some smal 10mm botled neck cases whit 9mm bullets.tanks for the donasjon mister tkri.

My good!! I was lucky to day,i got my self the werry rare 7,5 Nagant Blanks to day.It found its way to my collection Her is the original 7,5 Nagant to compare.

I got 3 new cartridges to day for a shoot show in US.The .32 Winchester Spesial,300 RCM and 338 RCM,the cartridge to the raigth is the 375 Ruger.

My list is up dated to day,sorry that i did not take any picture of the new one in my collection.
