The physical factory still exists, and an outfit called "IVI" operates it. IVI stands for, I believe, "Industrie Valcartier Industries" which reflects the idiotic Canadian/Quebecois fixation on total bilingualism.

IVI markets the Imperial brand, which is one of the former CIL's trade names. Quality under IVI is nowhere near as good as in the earlier CIL days.

Try a search on IVI or the full name and see what comes up. Hope this helps.

It was my understanding that Imperial went under about ten years ago. Midway ran a dirt cheap special on Imperial brass they picked up when the Co. went under. I bought a couple of hundred 30-3o cases. They are much lighter/thinner than US brass.
