The rules have changed, expect increased destruction of important pipelines. And power transmission equipment. The gloves are off.

ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

Include underwater internet and phone cable/lines and oil and gas platforms. There is a valid (yet undeclared) World War.

None would surprise me.

Locally people have been told their heating fuel will be double the price this year. I promise you they are not listening.

In my former patrol area there are a couple of major pipe lines and many good size power sub-stations. All unprotected located in areas that could be easily attacked without anybody knowing until they went boom.

For years I tried to get the various law enforcement in the area to take the threat to them seriously.

The most common response to this idea from management was it will not happen here.

No one wants to spend money on some thing that hasn't happen.

Sadly, America seems to prefer to 'do something' after the disaster happens rather than be proactive about it in all sectors of life.

That's the truth! I know that with all the population increases out here, the roads have not kept up with the massive drivers on our little old back country roads. It will take how many people getting killed before anything is done. Personally, I don't want all these transplants here, but I don't wish anyone a traffic fatality either.

Along those same lines; today's local paper had commentary between the 2 opponents for the several county offices. County Commissioner, County Judge, + several minor positions. Now, I always vote a straight Republican ticket but,It was interesting that the incumbent Republicans were not in favor of our community concerns. The county Commissioner is in favor of eminent domain to the grief of the landowners here (I'm one of them) The county judge has already sold out to the big business for their rock crushing plant that will drain our aquifer (DRINKING WATER!) + allow all the silica dust into the atmosphere that we will have to breathe. But since the quarry owner + the judge don't live here, that's not a problem. The judge that is running against Gravel (rep-incumbent) is a Dem but his comments in the interview was akin to my own way of thought. I have always felt to vote for the person rather than the party, however over the last 30+ years, the Dems had nothing to offer. Up until 1968 we all voted Democrat here in the south. Up until then it was the working mans friend, then it became the 'free ride party' + that set wrong with those of us who worked. I'm hoping that these 2 candidates will 1, do what they say, +2 do get a chance to do so. Personally, I don't think they have any chance of being elected, if for no other reason that the 'powers that be' have taken over the system. "It's good to be king!"

Oh, + by the way, if you don't pay us annually, we will steal everything you own. HUM, it strikes me that in 1257 that Prince John signed a little ditty called the Magna Carta. But that was England, so never mind.

A lot of people argue with me when I say zoning is one of the worse things that has been done to property owners.

But that is where local government gets all the power over your property.

It is great when they use the power to protect you.

But horrible when they use the same power to allow something you do not like.

Personally I would be in favor of just being left alone.

Journalist and author Michael Shellenberger found that Facebook is censoring the damning article from journalist Seymour Hersh that accuses the U.S. of blowing up the Nord Stream pipeline.

We’ve covered this story at length but to sum up: Hersh spoke to inside sources that say the the U.S. Navy was asked by President Biden to blow up the Nord Stream Pipeline between Russia and Germany and that he used the Navy with help from Norway to do it so that he could keep from getting Congressional approval for this act of international sabotage.

Seymour Hersh has an excellent track record for exposing the military industrial complex going back to the first Iraq war. But Facebook does not want his reporting shard so they are censoring this story.

The fact-checker Facebook relies on for the final word here is the Norwegian public broadcaster NRK. On March 14, the organization reprinted an article by Faktisk.no, a media watchdog which counts NRK as among its partners. But Hersh pointed out that the Norwegian government was involved so of course they’d say that.

This is what Shellenberger calls the Censorship Industrial Complex. Add that to another industrial complex that is not in the public interest: Military Industrial Complex, Biopharmaceutical Industrial Complex, Homeless Industrial Complex and now the Censorship Industrial Complex.

Along those same lines; a friend of mine whose son was in the Corps. when Obama was in office, + revueing the troops; they were ORDERED by the base commander to give him cheers + other accolades. Now, I am all for supporting the President, but we need a President that is worth supporting. Oh, + BTW, I was rereading some of Jeff Coopers "Gunsite Gossip" + found one from 1986 that called then legislator Joe Biden," A likkspittle lapdog from the lunatic left". I can only compliment him on his erudition on the subject + wished I had said it 1st.
