In the above link, there are 21 porters plus the main guide on the blue sheep hunt. Using the 10% cost of the trip for tips, how did you distribute the money among so many people? Did the main guide tell you game scouts receive this and porters this, cooks this, etc.?

Also, received an itinerary, from Islamabad go to Gilgit then to Karimabad then to Sost and finally to Garan Chashma Village. Anyone been to Karimabad,Sost or Garan Chashma Village that can provide information on these areas?

Thank you in advance.

Kathi,

Good question and quite subjective. I have hunted Pakistan twice but not for blue sheep. I have however, done the blue sheep in Nepal with porters, cooks, guides, ect. The outfitter gave us a very detailed account (recommendation) of what each man should receive. For once in my life, I found the recommendation to be fair and reasonable. Hopefully your outfitter will provide sound suggestions. If not, perhaps a reference from a previous client who has taken this specific hunt. Good luck and have a great adventure.
