From these photos I thought the attacked man might have a bulletproof vest but the Telegraph photo shows it's just a shirt . The officers had a large audience !

According to a tourist, they were using real bullets to "tranquilize" the Leopard... Only coolies....

The ill equipped and poorly trained Indian forest dept. officials will always end up killing the poor animal they are attempting to rescue. Why don't they just allow hunting. It makes my blood boil.
