| huntnjim, I hunted blue sheep and tahr this past Oct. with Nepal Wildlife Adventures (Prem and Shova Singh) It was without a doubt, the greatest mountain hunting experience I have encountered. Highly recommended. You may want to contact the outfit you intend to hunt with regarding permits for both animals. That may dictate what time you go if you desire both animals. Best of luck---Mark Hampton |

| My hunt was taken during the fall. Our outfitter told us that we would be hunting higher elevations than the spring hunts. My blue sheep was taken around 15,000 and the tahr was 14,000+. The hunt started at 9,000. I was on a regimen of diamox during the hunt. Best of luck--Mark Hampton |

| I haven't hunted there but I hiked through the mountains for three weeks. Hardest walking I have ever done but it is a spectacular place. I was there in October and we did get some torrential rain on occasion so it might be better to go in the spring which is much drier.
Never worry about theory as long as the machinery does what it's supposed to do.

About the same for me. Remember you need time to slowly acclimate to the altitude. |
