Those are some world class trophies. I remember the first time I saw Klineburger's brochure for sheep hunting in Mongolia in 1982. The Gobi Argali was $7500 and High Altai Argali was $17,500, unfortunately in those days I could not afford the $7500 hunt.

I think its the most $$$$ animal to hunt today! I find it ludicrous that anyone would spend that kind of money to shoot something.

Those and Suleiman markhor are the two greatest animals to me.

LOL! My wife thinks spending $1,000 to shoot a deer is crazy, too.

If she knew the per-pound price of the dove meat I bring home, she'd faint, for sure.

Wifezilla thinks it's idiotic to pay $10,000+, plus airfare to shoot one buffalo and half of my friends think that I'm insane spending the money to hunt in Africa at all.

Yeah the prices are crazy now. Shot my Gobi argali in January 1988 for $5840... It was cold as s..t but we got a good one.

Glad I went when I could!

I went just 2 years before you were there.
My brother and I shot sheep, ibex, gazelle and stag for under 10K round trip. Man, I'm glad I went and went when I did!!!!
