Good night to everyone.
I am booking a MP & ibex hunt. Dates available at work for me last seek of september 1 week of octoberNeed as much info as possible! Issik kul or Narin for big Marco polo??? How cold will it be? Any tips? Outfitters? Euros or dollars? Will a 7 mm do with 175 grains? Clothing? Food? Any place to visit in Bishek. Roe deer available?

A 7mm mag will work. I would look at a 160 class bullet that is accurate at 500 yards. I shot an Ibex in Kyrgyzstan with a 120 grain Barnes ttsx out of a 264 win mag. I wouldn't have hesitated to use it on a Marco Polo.

Friend of mine living in Madrid recently went and got a monster Ibex. More than welcome to put you in touch.

One is a sheep, the other a goat, your 7mm will knock them right over.

It's tough to get a really big ibex in a Marco area. There are good marco areas and great ibex areas but great combo areas are tough. Concentrate on the Marco and be happy with an average ibex. 7mm will be more than enough. Temps should be 40s during day and 30s to high 20s at night but it's the mountains so expect anything.
