I am just starting to learn all I can for a trip for Ibex. What are the pros and cons of these places to hunt?
Is the price about the same?
I have tons of questions and want to make a good choice when I decide to go. Any info would be great.
Thanks

I can't comment on actual hunting experience since I've never hunted in either place. I do know that Spain is a whole heck of a lot more expensive than Mongolia is to hunt. The trophy fees alone in Spain can run close to the total hunt cost for a Mongolian ibex.

Mongolia is about $8500 round trip.

Spain will be $15000.

Both have interesting cultures and will be entertaining and beautiful places to go.

Flying from Alberta via Toronto or New York to Madrid will be a strait shot.

Flying from Alberta to San Francisco to Seoul then onto Mongolia will be similar

Alberta to Denver to Frankfurt to Ulan Batoor will be similar.

Mongolia will be similar to the Rockies but with less trees and more open ravines.

Both are exotic, both are interesting, and I have lived in Spain and would go back anytime.

I would love to visit Mongolia as well.
