I found a website last night that I think will interest a lot of you, the Biodiversity Heritage Library, www.biodiversitylibrary.org. They have a ton of books on hunting Asia from the late 1800's to early 1900's that can be downloaded for free as PDF's, which can then be read on a tablet or Kindle. When you go into the site, just look up "hunting." They also have a lot of works on early Africa and North America that are hard to find in print. I started Donald Macintyre's Hindu-Koh. It's a really interesting read. His trophy collection is impressive!

Thanks, Talentech, for the resource. Now there's something else to enjoy during my "me" time. Zeke

I'm already part way through "A summer in High Asia". Oh, those were the days, well before the "blast-n-dash" that we have today. Life is too hectic. It helps to slow down and remember a simpler time. Zeke

talentrec, I bookmarked that one. Thanks. Good books on Asian hunting are hard to find. I'm in the process of cleaning my library out. One of the books I consider excellent is Captain John Brandt's book Asian Hunter. I was fortunate enough to visit him on his ranch. While there he autographed a copy for me of the fifteen hundred printed. Excellent read. Large book, very comprehensive.
