Savage bastards. As far as caring for wildlife goes, Indians are the worst race, probably only after the chinese.

The Indian Wildlife department is a joke. They know nothing about wildlife and the people who do, don't want to speak out because they don't want to be targeted by the anti hunting mob, which are very prevalent in India.

Sad, sad situation.

It attacked 9 people what do you expect the them to do. When your disarmed by government policy.

What crap load story by the Dailymail.

It was no where near heart breaking.

The animal was a problem and the people took care of it the only way they could.

What do you base your ignorant remarks on? sitting in your cosy home in an armchair?
I would have just used a gun if it was available.

The tiger in the video is decidedly incapacitated but I'm just wondering what kind of a blow would cause that with a stick. I suspect the cat was down before the villagers were brave enough to attack in mass.

Wildlifemanagement in India is pretty much a disaster, especially outside of parks. India has lost many tigers recently due to similar instances and many of them could have been avoided.

That said, I wouldn't be too friendly to a tiger that comes into my village and eats my livestock.

Bill I base my ignorant remarks on growing up in India in the jungles where there were tigers, and wild gond tribals. So saw first hand the conflict. I was also fortunate to see the last good days of what it must have been like once upon a time in India. Also my father shot 21 tigers and my grandfather 54! So I am no arm chair pundit like many here. I also arrange safaris all over the world and have also hunted all over the world myself. So that's how I came up with my ignorant remarks.
