I'd like to know if anyone can reccomend an outfit for one of the cheaper ibex species?

Going to mongolia in late Feb early march 2008 for ibex,\. I will post a report on my return.

Do your research well and get recent references. I know of 2 recent instances when hunters in Kyrgyzstan have had to shoot unacceptible animals--this year a female ibex and earlier a 35cm male. Embarrased to say friends of mine were working for the PH. Sorry, don't know the outfitter's name.
Ketchutti posted about his Kyrgyz ibex a few weeks ago. I think he paid about $5500 and seemed satisfied with the result.

Kazakhstan seems to be producing better ibex that Kyrgyzstan now.

Mongolia may be easier for you to get to.

Ray hammond had to cancel because of the SCI show at port stephens, he was going with a close mate of mine for Alti sheep. Cant afford the sheep, so hunting Ibex instead.
I think the outfitter is Garlaa??
