A while back on this forum I believe, someone spoke about a Russian/English phrase book. It has Russian phrases written out phonetically??? Anyway, where might someone purchase one of these? I am going to Kyrgystan next month and thought it might be handy.

Thank you gentlemen. I did a search on Yahoo and found it on Amazon. I ordered one for my trip; should be here in a couple of days. Maybe I can at least ask where the bathroom is.
A friend of mine who went on an ibex hunt in the mid nineties told me not to ask what the food was unless it was good, so......

Watch out that you don't get the Monty Python version...

For anybody old enough to remember, did Monty Python not do a sketch with a Hungarian phrase book once... I quote a few of the Hungarian/English translations suggested:

quote:
"Drop your panties, Sir William; I cannot wait until lunchtime!"

"My nipples explode with delight!"
