Reminds me of an experience with Pakistan Airlines.

We were on a fairly new plane ready to leave Islamabad for Karachi. The pilot called everyone to pray before we left. They got down as best they could in the aisles, aimed the plane toward Mecca. We took off after that.

Then, one of the passengers tried to make his own tea on the plane in the bathroom using an open flame burner. Needless to say, it got a little exciting.

What a world we live in....
