Problem for us is, last I heard Iran was arresting American visitors and charging them with spying.

Due to the current worrying situation in Iran and the growing hatred for the foreigners, I wouldn't go over there even if I could get a free return plane ticket.

Well its going to be a long time before Americans are welcome in Iran. Did not know how the game was fairing there till now. Good to know that, it was not also lost too.

Doesn't Iran have more species of wild sheep than any other country?

Is it legal for Americans to go there?

Dear friends,

For those of you who support Grizzly Bear hunting in BC, please follow the link below and vote on this very important issue. After you vote please forward this to anyone else you know who would like to vote. If the link does not work, copy and paste the address below into your web browser.

When the page comes up scroll down just a little and simply check the "YES" box and then the "VOTE" box. You will then see if WE are winning. When I voted today we were at 75% Yes and the anti group was at 25% NO.

Please go to http://www.cbc.ca/bc/ and vote in favor of the hunt.

This is VERY important for all of us but especially our outfitter friends in BC, Canada.

Sir, your English is light years better than my Farsi! Lack of any skill in non-English languages is a common failing among Americans, which regrettably I share.

Your reports are interesting, and much appreciated. That said, I think that my health and life expectancy are best served by staying out of Iran for the foreseeable future.

Good hunting!

Hi Vahid, congratulations for your superb boar & urial !
I enjoyed hunting Iran years ago and dream to hunt again there asap : great country, great people, great game, great caviar, but terrible government ! I wish I could post, but am useless at this, the pic of the nice boar I shot in the Elburz mountains. Keep us posted with your hunts & opportunities there ! dannaud@dannaudsafaris.com

I would like to hunt in Iran some day. Contrary to what the television would have you believe, it is country with a lot of friendly people. However, it is not one of those places where you want to accidentaly cross their border, kind of like Burma in that regard.

Had no idea there were boar that size in Iran. Pretty impressive.

Vahid...I've enjoyed your kindness & interesting hunting reports, Thanks.

BTW, I've hunted w/ a former oil & gas engineer that lived over in Iran BEFORE the '79 revolution & he had nothing but very good things to say of the people, hunting & beautiful lands. His stories are quite interesting to say at the least. Would I hunt Iran...sure!

Dear Adam,
one of the most important ways for wild boar hunting in here is glassing that i use it , we can find a big one and provide a good plan for hunt them.
its very memorable hunting here , i wish you can try it here.
