Well its going to be a long time before Americans are welcome in Iran. Did not know how the game was fairing there till now. Good to know that, it was not also lost too.

I've hunted in Iran before without any problems (Italian passport). I wouldn't hesitate to go back the kal and ghooch hunting is great!

I would like to hunt in Iran some day. Contrary to what the television would have you believe, it is country with a lot of friendly people. However, it is not one of those places where you want to accidentaly cross their border, kind of like Burma in that regard.

Had no idea there were boar that size in Iran. Pretty impressive.

Its newest hunt in Iran ,with my best friend , my rifle is nakhjir3 (270 win).

BTW, I've hunted w/ a former oil & gas engineer that lived over in Iran BEFORE the '79 revolution & he had nothing but very good things to say of the people, hunting & beautiful lands. His stories are quite interesting to say at the least. Would I hunt Iran...sure!

one of the most important ways for wild boar hunting in here is glassing that i use it , we can find a big one and provide a good plan for hunt them.
