Hokey, clearly staged, and I'm not for the making animals fight spectacle thing, but interesting old stuff. That tiger looked pretty thin. Anyone seen the original in its entirety?

Very interesting old footage! Though it looks to be staged, that black leopard looked fairly screwed to me, and it was amazing to see! The days of making video like that are long gone, unfortunately, or not.

Definitely staged. It might not even have been shot in India or Asia but in Florida or some other part of the US! The tiger is definitely a sub adult & that is the only reason that the leopard escaped. The leopard would been killed like rat by a terrier if it was an adult tiger.

Such staged films of old are common - like the famous one of a tiger - lion fight where the lion kills the tiger after the tiger gave it a real walloping during most of the fight! That one was so sad as it was obvious that some one intervened to weaken the tiger.
