I am jealous!
With that kind of shooting it sounds like a 10 ga. is hardly necessary; a 20 with #4 or #5 would be about right.
I have used a 10 for years, mostly because we were stuck with steel shot. Of late I have been using bismuth in a 2-3/4 12 ga. for my ducks and geese. A nice light 10 ga. with 1-3/8 of shot could really be fun but finding such a gun can be difficult and expensive.
Try a light 20 ga. with 1 oz of #5's on your decoying geese.
