Anyone have any good recommendations for dove hunting in Argentina? I'm looking for one of the high end luxury places, preferably with some other activities so that I can take my non-shooting wife.

Thanks

Try Los Chanares. Sounds like what you are looking for. I have been the last 3 years in a row.

Hi Brad

My wife and I are going to Los Ombues on Sat. 11/03 I let her pick out the place, (damn good idea) and she went the whole 9 yards. Then we go back to B.A. and stay at the Alvear Palace Hotel and go see a Tango Show where She gets to get all dressed up.

Hell, I had to go buy a suit, because I didn't own one Roll Eyes

I swear....she's more exited than I am !!!!

I'm planning 1/2 dove shooting and 1/2 flyfishing for Golden Dorado. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Hundreds of guys here in South Louisiana go to Argentina for dove shoots each year. Most of them use Trek International Safaris. Website at www.treksafaris.com. Trek has been doing South and Central America for 30 years. My first hunt with them was 26 years ago. I have never heard any complaints. They have at least 4 lodges in Cordoba. My son and I did a shoot in Argentina two years ago with Argentina Wild Wings, also out of Cordoba. Website at www.argentinawildwings.com. They were great. Lodge was beautiful, shooting was near the lodge, food was fantastic and wine too. I bought the shoot at a fund raiser but not knowing them and having hunted several times with Trek, I was uneasy, but once we arrived we couldn't have been more pleased.

David Denies Wingshooting is top notch (http://www.daviddenies.com/), I've hunted with them numerous times. They have two lodges in Cordoba Province. Their rep in the States is:
