High volume bird shooting gear!!!

AR Forum members,

I am currently in the process of designing a line of products for "High Volume" bird shooters.

We currently make excellent cases for the field and have been using them on trips to Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, etc. with great results Time to add on to the line.

We now are working on:

- A small catch-all field bag for glasses, toilet paper, firstaid, gun cleaning stuff (boresnake, lubricants, etc), gloves, ear-pro, etc.

- High Volume shell bag.

- Lightweight, take-down portable gun stand (for spare / hot gun)

Any suggestions from forum members on these items / items needed would be appreciated.

AND as a reward, we will offer a substantial discount on these items to any forum member / their family & friends when we roll out the line on or around the first week of August.

Keep in mind that these will be top-quality MADE IN USA items (not shoddy imports) using the finest materials and put together using our Military proven manufacturing techniques.

Bird lanyards for Argentina waterfowl might need load bearing suspenders when your talking about carrying say 50 ducks. I would think if you had 3 neck frames on each side of the front and maybe 3-4 on the back but your talking about an average weight of 1.5-2.5 lbs per bird, it would need to be very sturdy and durable. Jeff, you can make that work.

Folding, portable seat: legs need some sort of flat, broad surface on the ends to prevent the seat from sinking in the mud. If I had a simple way to draw it, I could show you what I'm thinking.

Shooting vest: Sims has a vest with a removable shoulder pad so you can wash the garment. Something along those lines would help greatly. I've used a shoulder sling with padding and it allowed me to dove hunt when my shoulder was injured. They help a lot.

I think your onto something Jeff!

I usually shoot about 100 ducks a day. Generally about 2/3's in the morning. Also, there are usually 2 hunters in each blind.

Honestly, the over the shoulder thing is usually for pictures . For the most part, one would drag it along behind you in the water.

My recommendation would be for each "strap" to hold at least 20 ducks on each side. Design it to have the ability to lock them in when you want. In other words, if you have one side full, have something that stops the ducks from coming out. Also, add the ability to link the sets of straps. If there is 120 ducks on the water, one would need multiple sets of straps. It should be easy to use a clip to put multiple straps together.

Another possible item would be thin waterproof gloves. It would make the pick up of these ducks a lot more comfortable.

Fold-up stool (not to short) with a padded seat that can rotate. I'd prefer one with a single leg that you could "push" 5 or 6 inces into the ground --- with a stop-plate to keep it from going in to far.

Any shooting bags used off a range should be fabric coated to keep them water-proof and have a top that opens really wide along with mutiple outside pockets for glasses. etc.
