larryshoresDuck hunt with Argentina Outfitters
We just returned last Friday from a duck hunt with Argentina Outfitters. This was our 5th year in a row going with them. Once again, it was a fantastic hunt. All the details were handled flawlessly. I would highly recommend them.
We shot ducks for 6 days. I personally shot between 500 - 600 ducks. We took the following species:
Rosy billed pochard
Yellow billed pintail
White cheeked pintail
Ringed teal
Speckled teal
Cinnamon teal
Shoveler
Black duck
Chilean wigeon
Shooting was good. They have a unique way of monitoring your shooting. You are allowed to take 5 boxes of shells in the morning and 3 boxes in the afternoon. You shoot what you can with those shells.

Kamo GariGreat mixed bag. Are you able to bring them home for mounting? I would love to hunt waterfowl in Argentina, but only if I could bring them back to add to the collection.
I've asked this before, but since I've gotten several different answers, am asking for any recent intel.
Thanks, and some nice shots you have there.

P.S. Is the black duck you refer to a local name, or the same American Black duck that makes its main range the Northeast coastal areas of the US (and north)?

larryshoresThis outfitter handles the ducks 2 separate ways.
He is from Houston. He brings both salted skins and frozen ducks.
Personally, I have 6 species of ducks being worked on right now.
And no, the black ducks aren't the same.

L. David KeithThanks for posting the pics Larry. I enjoy seeing their birds. I used to mount many birds from Mexico, especially the 3 Teal (GW, BW and Cinnamon).
Cheers,
David
