Do any of you have any experience or opinion on the side by side shotguns offered by Weatherby? I believe they are made by Fausti in Italy. Thanks.

I bought a Fausti from Cabella's last year. I really like it. I will mention that I did a little finish work on the metal as the factory left e few tooling marks and the gun was stiff and gritty. Once properly honed, everything was / is smooth as silk. I feel they are a good value and I would buy another.

If your hunting dog is fat, then you aren't getting enough exercise. Smiler

The first time I shot a Weatherby was when I was playing executioner at a dog field trial in CT. The other guy there offered for me to use his O/U Orion. Sure, why not? Bird is shot out of sling, I slap the trigger and the report is exta loud and the recoil pretty stiff. I opened the action to find that the thing doubled on me. "It might not look as pretty as yours, but my pumpgun won't ever do THAT", I told the guy. Wink
