Last weekend a group of us went to Pinewood Plantation near Albany for a little quail shooting. It was one of the most memorable quail hunting experiences I've ever had. I've been to places where the birds were better, and the dogs more experienced but I've never been to anyplace where the birds were as good , the people as nice and the food as good as Pinewood. The accomodations were first class and the food great too.
There are some wild coveys as well as pen raised birds. The rolling pine woods makes an excellent hunting cover.
It's not cheap but it's worth the money if you're looking. I've paid more and gotten less in other places
